Signature Round Table
Organised by the WP5 lead Enercoutim, the INSIEME Signature Round Table is being held on 16 April in Paris, dedicated to the governance of the Common European Energy Data Space. Key sector representatives will convene to align perspectives on how energy data spaces can evolve from strategic ambition to sustainable value creation. Should you wish to participate, we encourage you to register and review the particularly compelling agenda.
Drawing upon preliminary INSIEME project results and related initiatives, the event will address remaining gaps and barriers, structured around four thematic round tables designed to facilitate in-depth discussion and consensus-building.
2nd INSIEME Industrial Stakeholder Roundtable
We successfully hosted the 2nd online Industrial Stakeholder Roundtable on 24 March from 15:00 to 17:00. Organised by project partner SmartEn, the session explored interoperability challenges and opportunities across system and market actors, including aggregators and digital platform operators, under the theme "Interoperability in front of the meter: a priority focus to enable harmonised flexibility markets across Europe."
This open debate was part of INSIEME's work to design a Common European Energy Data Space (CEEDS), setting key priorities for data-driven innovation. Stakeholders from across Europe shared valuable insights with INSIEME partners and sector experts, with productive discussions during the live Q&A segment. The event brought together a strong speaker line-up and resulted in a successful exchange among all participants.
1st INSIEME Industrial Stakeholder Roundtable
The first INSIEME Industrial Stakeholder Roundtable, hosted by SmartEn, brought together project partners and external industry stakeholders for the launch of a new bi-monthly series. The sessions are designed to collect recommendations, feedback, and best practices from end users to help shape a usable Common European Energy Data Space (CEEDS). A first deep dive was dedicated to Use Case 1, centred on energy efficiency and flexibility management, with concrete examples
illustrating how data-driven solutions can unlock flexibility potential in industrial environments. Schneider Electric France presented practical lessons from the CEMS Flex-Ready use case. Schneider Electric Germany, together with Fraunhofer IEE, offered key governance and interoperability insights from the Energy Data-X project and the German National Energy Data Space. The recording of this session is available for those who were unable to attend.
All Project Partners to Meet for Two-Day Kickoff Event of INSIEME
We are pleased to announce the official kickoff event of the INSIEME, which will bring together all project partners for the first time. The event will take place over two days, on April 15th and 16th, at the University of Vienna, Austria. This kickoff meeting marks the beginning of an exciting collaboration between 54 partners from 16 countries. Over the course of the two days, participants will have the opportunity to get to know each other, align on project goals and timelines, and set the foundation
for successful cooperation. The agenda will feature presentations from each workpackage leader, interactive workshops, and discussions focused on the first steps toward achieving the project’s objectives. It will also provide space for networking and building strong relationships that will carry the project forward. We look forward to an inspiring and productive start to INSIEME, and to sharing outcomes and updates in the months to come.

Our Vision for Europe's Energy Data Space
The INSIEME Vision Paper outlines how trusted data sharing can accelerate decarbonization, enhance energy security, and drive a smarter, more connected energy system — for the people, by the sector.
